If you ever need proof that Helsinki is a design-lover's dream (or in Henry's words: 'hipster heaven') you'd only have to look to Design District Helsinki.
I discovered a Helsinki shopping gem for lovers of all things eclectic and bohemian: a pastel-hued rainbow of a lifestyle boutique by the name of Moko Market & Café.
Not just a pocket-sized hipster haven buzzing with design, technology, and rabid seagulls; Helsinki is that rare breed of capital city suited to both land-lubbers and sea-farers, what with the 330 islands that make up its archipelago.
I'm the overly-coordinated sort - the type who matches the metals on her purse to her jewellery (for this reason I have two versions of my favourite handbags, i.e. two Chanel 2.55s - one with silver hardware, the other in gold) - so when it comes to travel, you know I'll have planned a theme for an entire trip.
Yesterday I returned to London from a much-needed short break in Helsinki, Finland - hence the hiatus on Posh, Broke, & Bored (but did I or didn't I make up for it on Instagram? Go on, say Hel Yeah!)
