The Wolf of Warsaw - a wolf fur winter warmer

Again, are you Fur Real?

Keeping warm in winter the Varsovian way

(because freezing my arse off on holiday is, like, so last year)

Eat clean, curb your shopping enthusiasm, embrace mindfulness and minimalism...
Sound familiar?
These are the New Year resolutions of many, the inevitable breaking of which I can hear from this side of my screen as they crack, much like my resolve to get to grips with the concept of walking (Pavement pounding? Non, tres pedestrian). There is a #2016Goal I've had a good running start with: travel. For my birthday Henry gifted me a trip to Warsaw to ring in my new year of wanderlustin' and a vintage wolf fur coat to brave the Polish winter with. Destination and fashion - now there's a man who does birthdays right.
What a lifesaver that wolf coat was - with an average daily of 7°C, light snow, and bitter winds I'd have surely gone the way of the wooly mammoth if not for those sumptuous wrappings. Worn over a silk-cashmere knit dress; accessorised with vintage leather gloves, my ever trusty Stuart Weitzman 5050s, and my failsafe 'classic travel clutch' the Chanel 2.55 Reissue, I was well-equipped to conquer Warsaw...except maybe not, because we missed our flight back to London (that's a story for another day) documenting my 'Aren't I toasty and oh-so-swish?' smugness. Oh the irony. Proof that when Auld Lang is Syne and done, one may be a year older but not actually a year wiser...

SHOP THE POST:

If you're reading this on desktop (and if you're not, put down your smartphones and get back to pretending to work) you may have noticed a subtle-but-slick bit of html wizardry going on in this blog post, namely the choice double border-action wrapping itself around the introduction paragraph and my shopping widget just above this sentence. That's right, your girl is finally making good on that annual-but-till-now-unfulfilled promise to up her coding game. Nobody believes me when I tell them that one; I did graduate with a BA in Graphic Design and two; I do actually want to improve my pixel-pushing - mostly because my blog layout is, for lack of a better word, basic. I'm changing that, starting now, one <div> tag at a time because I'm tired of answering questions of "What did you learn in university?" with "bugger all..."

So in addition to travel, that makes two New Year's resolutions I've forced a preemptive strike on.
What about you?
Have you got cracking on your personal projects, this year's travel plans, changing your relationship status etc.?
What resolutions for two-oh-sixteen have you made, and which of those do you plan to make (or break?) x
