The House of Peroni October 2014 launch

October 03, 2014

Yesterday evening I attended The House Of Peroni launch of their October residency at the townhouse, 64, Lincoln's Inn Fields.

Rome. A city. A home. A life of style. Open from 3rd October, The House of Peroni takes inspiration from this transformative, dynamic city; a city at the heart of the Peroni Nastro Azzurro story. Guests are invited to explore four floors of Roman life, created collectively by Italian New Wave designers, artists, architects and chefs. Across the three uniquely styled bars, House Mixologist Federico Riezzo, will showcase his latest drinks creations and in the top floor restaurant guests can experience innovative dishes from culinary collective Bottega Wapping.
The House will host events and experiences inspired by Rome throughout the residency. Guests can enjoy masterclasses exploring the scents of Rome whilst creating their own bespoke solid perfume, craft their own chocolates with Roman artisan chocolatier SAID, prepare authentic fresh pasta using contemporary methods, experience a unique film and dining event at ‘Film Feast’, or enjoy delicious Roman street food from ‘Mercato Romano’ each Friday.

Of course I had to wear my Dolce & Gabbana Roman-inspired dress to an art and food showcase of the Roman perspective. The cuff and Le Boy are both Chanel and my leopard-print flats are the sister to the Primark limited edition spotted shoes I wore to an autumn wedding. I have been a supporter of The House of Peroni; I blogged about their May launch (blog post here), and went to Rome to research and produce for them An Illustrated Roman Holiday inspired by the film Roman Holiday. It is without bias of my love for them that I tell you that The House of Peroni is a must-visit. Entrance is free, for over-18s only, and opens to the public from today till 31st October. Find them at 64, Lincoln's Inn Fields, Holborn, London.
